So today is the penultimate gin before Christmas Eve. The gin to enjoy today is Sipsmith London Cup (previously named Summer Cup). Continue reading “GinMas – Day Twenty Three”
The countdown is almost coming to end, but the gin to enjoy today is Brilliant gin. Another gin that I discovered at Brighton Gin Club’s Festival of Sussex Gins.
Based just outside of Chichester, Brilliant Gin is made for adventurous souls who like distinct flavours. Infused with sage, coriander, angelica, savory, lemon peel, bitter orange, grains of paradise, cloves and cinnamon.
This gin is packed with lots of flavours. I like to have this gin with an Indian tonic garnished with pink grapefruit.
I love this last week before Christmas, I start to feel quite Christmassy and everyone is usually in a good mood. I also like this week because I only have a couple of days before I have some time off work!
With that in mind, it is time for me to reveal the next gin on my countdown, the gin for today is City of London Dry Gin.
This gin is distilled in the heart of London, hence the name City of London. I have lovely memories of when I first tried this gin, I went to their distillery for a tour and a tasting, and got to try all the gins in their range.
They also have a bar called COLD, that has about 300 different gins from all over the world, so it is a great place to go if you want to make some new gin discoveries!
This gin is distilled with fresh orange, lemon, lime and pink grapefruit. It has a lovely fresh and zesty taste to it.
I like to drink this gin with an Indian tonic garnished with pink grapefruit.
