How was the last week of December? Have you
I have been enjoying my time off chilling and watching a few box sets, I’m currently binge watching Breaking Bad. I’m a bit late to the party on that one, but it is so good.
If you are familiar with my content you will know that I write a monthly favourites post, in which I share the things I have been loving. So to mark the end of the year I thought I would do an ultimate post of my 8 favourites of 2018. So here goes.
Accessorize metal ring saddle cross body bag – burgundy
This bag was my January sales treat to myself at the beginning of the year, and it is a bag that has seen me through most of the year. I still love it, everyone always comments on how nice it is too. It complements most of my outfits and adds a pop of colour to dark winter outfits.
The reason what I love it so much is that it takes you for day to night if you go for a few after work drinks on a Friday. It wouldn’t be right if this bag didn’t make it into my best of 2018.
#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso
This year I have really got back into reading, I have read quite a few books this year. I’ve read a few fiction books. But the book that I think I enjoyed reading the most was #GIRLBOSS by Sophie Amoruso, the founder of vintage fashion brand NastyGal.
Sophie shares her story of how her fashion empire began. I loved how inspiring it was. She teaches you how to be a girlboss and shares tips on how to carry yourself in an interview and in an office environment with the right attitude. I loved reading it and couldn’t put in down.
L’oreal Pure Clay Blemish Rescue Mask
You know me, I love a face mask, and the ones from L’oreal are by far my favourites. They came onto my radar in 2017 and have stuck around throughout 2018.
The Pure Clay Blemish Rescue Mask has been one of my favorites, I suffer from random outbreaks and this mask is a godsend. Not only does it reduce the redness of my skin it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed.
M&S Trench Coat
For ages a classic cut trench coat has been on my wishlist. I finally bought one back in April from good old M&S. It was the perfect coat for all that unpredictable weather we had.
I love this trench because it is so versatile and classic, it never really goes out of style. I love that I can wear with dresses, skirts, and heels, but also dress it down with my jeans and my weekend staple, my converse trainers.
L’oreal – Smooth Sugars Nourish Scrub – Cocoa Butter
I know a lot of the skincare products I mention in my blogs are L’oreal, and it is for good reason, I just love their products. The price point is always value for money, and they make my skin feel amazing.
One of my favourite skincare products has to be the Cocoa butter nourish scrub. I love how it sinks into my skin, and it smells amazing, just like chocolate! I think this is the perfect scrub to use every few days to give skin a well-deserved skin pick me up! I sometimes use it to take my face masks off, which leaves my skin feeling extra smooth.
Emporio Armani – Because it’s You Perfume
This perfume has been on my wishlist for ages, So I was so happy when I bought it. Perfume for me is a bit of a luxury, so to make sure I got the right one, I would always pop into Debenhams to try them, pretty much every weekend! I hope I’m not the only person that does this?
I love this perfume. It has a sweet and floral scent that lingers around for most of the day, which for me is important for a perfume. I have had so many compliments on how lovely it smells.
Leopard Print Shirt
I have fallen in love with Leopard print in a big way this year. I love that it is back. One of the pieces that I have been loving is this red animal print shirt. It combines not only one of my favourite colours but also one of my favourite prints.
This shirt has been a firm favourite to the point that I have probably worn it way too much. But it goes with a lot of things in my wardrobe, so it is a strong winner for me.
L’oreal Skin Expert Paris Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Face Wash
I first starting using this face wash way back in February and it is still a strong favourite of mine. I love how it smells, it is gentle on my skin and helps reduce any redness.
It is great to use after any pure clay face masks, which makes my skin feel so soft afterwards.
So these are my best of 2018. What have been your go-to products or your favourite item of clothing or accessory of 2018? I’d love to know, so please leave a comment in the box below.
I’ll be writing some more ‘Best of 2018’ posts so keep your eyes peeled xx
