November Favourites

First things first, I’m so sorry I am so late with this post, I’ve been hit with this horrible cold that has been doing the rounds and I’ve got a bit carried away with Christmasing! I can’t believe it’s only a week until Christmas!

This time of year is always a time of mixed emotions for me, I start to reflect on the year that has gone by and think what I have and haven’t achieved But at the minute I’m excited for Christmas and some well earned time off. The last few months/weeks have been very busy!

Anyway, that’s a story for another time, You have come here for my November favorites! So here are all the things I have been loving!

Leopard Print Shirt

Last month I told you how much I was loving my leopard print skirt and well leopard print in general! My obsession has continued with this lovely shirt from New Look. I love the colour and it is so comfortable to wear. I usually wear it with boots and a leather skirt or with black jeans and flat boots for a more dressed down, casual look.

On a side note, New Look has some great pieces for Autumn and Winter this year, I’m loving their skirts and jumpers, I just can’t stop buying new stuff.

Penguin Jumper

This time of year I feel it is acceptable to embrace my love of Penguins, they are a christmassy animal, right? I love this jumper, which was a gift from my cousin last Christmas. I wouldn’t class it as Christmas jumper either, but is ideal to wear this time of year. I love the stone colour as it goes with a lot of stuff in my wardrobe. I find some jumpers a bit itchy, but this one is so soft and keeps me so warm.

I usually wear it with jeans and boots, and it goes well with my Houndstooth jacket from last month but I also might try wearing it with a few skirts, especially my leather one.

Capture your Style – Transform Your Instagram Images, Showcase Your Life, and Build the Ultimate Platform

This book is written by Aimee Song, and she gives tips on how to up your Instagram game. I really wanted to buy this book, to try and help me stay inspired with my Instagram posts, as recently I have found it hard to come up with new ideas and I want to enjoy posting again.

I love how the book is laid out in clear sections it’s ideal for just picking up and reading a chapter that takes your fancy. I love her tips for outfit selfies, how to create your own style and become a storyteller. She also offers tips about affiliate programs and working with brands. I think it’s the ideal book, to help push your Instagram account to the next level. It’s also a steel for £9.99 on Amazon.

Carvela/Kurt Geiger Chelsea Boots – Slow Tan

I usually buy loads of high-heeled boots, which of course leads to me constantly having sore feet. I have been looking for ages to find a nice pair of flat but versatile boots that will go with everything. I’ve had my eye on the perfect pair for ages and I finally bought them when I was Gunwharf Quays at the beginning of November. I got a good deal on them which was even better.

These Chelsea boots are amazing, I can wear them with Skirts and Jeans, they are so comfortable and I love the brogue markings on them and the buckle on the side. I have worn them a lot since I bought them.

Scarf – Marks and Spencers

I just love a big scarf and this one is perfect! I got it as a gift from one of my friends and I just love it. I have quite a few scarfs from M&S, they are a bit more expensive but I think it is money well spent for the quality and they are usually so soft.

This lovely blue one is no exception. I love the colours, and geometric patterns, blue is one of my favourite colours and the colour that my friends associate me with too.

The size of this scarf is a massive bonus as well because on really cold days I feel like I’m wrapped up in a little blanket. I will continue to wear it throughout the winter months especially when it turns freezing.

*this scarf also comes in two other colours pink and white and different shades of brown.

Kate Spade black leather cross body bag

Before Gin became my ‘thing’ my first love was always bags and shoes. (They still are to be fair), So for this month’s favourites I had to tell you about my Kate Spade bag!

I really love Cross body bags, as its nice to have both hands free when I’m out and about, especially when I’m out shopping or taking photos!

This bag is a really nice size if I want to carry a few extra things if I’m going out for the day. (My Olympus Pen and a few lenses, for example, fits in this bag nicely)  I like bags that have a nice oval shape to them, I don’t really know why? I think it’s because they look a bit neater and streamline.

I’m not one for big brands or designers, I only have a few designer pieces (my sunglasses, watch and this bag really) But I really love Kate Spade bags, the material feels really soft. I also so happy that there now is a Kate Spade at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, which could be dangerous for my wallet.

So these have been the things I have been loving this November, what are the things you have been loving lately? I’d love to know, so leave me a comment below xx
