Is anyone else a little bit excited about the royal wedding on Saturday? I love a royal wedding and well, weddings in general. One of my favourite things is seeing what style of dress the bride wears. As every wedding, I go to each bride chooses a dress that just is their style down to a tee.
With the wedding of Harry and Meghan on Saturday, it has got me thinking about wedding guest outfits. With wedding season slowly approaching I thought I’d put together a list of my favourite wedding guest outfits.
All the outfits I have picked are dresses that I would wear myself and some of them I have already bought.
Hope these outfit picks gives you some inspiration for your wedding guest outfits.

I recently bought this dress for a wedding back in February and I may even wear it again for a wedding at the end of September. I loved this shade of green and felt it suited my skin tone.
I think it is a great dress to wear to a wedding. It is a nice length and has a bit of give so it is comfortable to wear all day. I love the detail of the floral print. With the range of colours, you can coordinate your accessories differently everytime you wear it so it always looks new. I chose grey shoes and a grey clutch. But if I wear it again I might try and different colour bag and jacket.
This dress also from Boohoo is a very similar style and cut to the previous dress. I love getting wedding outfits from Boohoo as they are always so versatile and the material always has give so they are so comfortable to wear all day.
This neckline is so flattering and doesn’t show too much skin. I love the colour and the blossom print. It would be perfect to wear to a June or July wedding. I would probably wear this dress with nude or pale pink shoes with a nude clutch bag.
I think this dress is perfect for an evening wedding reception. The fabric looks like it is a good quality and looks like it wouldn’t crease. I love the pleats at the front and think they would be quite flattering. I like the straps as you could wear them on your high on your shoulders if you wanted to cover up or lower down to show a bit more skin. I think this colour is perfect to wear in summer. I would accessorise this dress with deep pink strappy sandals.
I am always one for a theme and because the Royal wedding on Saturday I decided to add this dress to my list as I think it is quite patriotic.
Red is one of my favourite colours. This one is quite a strong statement to wear to a wedding but stays on the side of suitable. I would say this dress is suitable for an early spring or a winter wedding. I love the lace detail and the cut of the neckline. Because this dress is so bright I would balance it with nude accessories so it would be all too much.
I haven’t worn a Maxi dress to a wedding before as most of the weddings I have been to have been quite formal. This dress would be perfect to wear to a more relaxed wedding, maybe a beach wedding aboard or a laid-back garden wedding. I love the colour and I’m really into floral prints at the moment, as you can mix and match your accessories.
I love the neckline as I think it is really flattering. It looks really comfortable to wear all day and would look great with heels during the day and would still look great when you are dancing barefoot on the dance floor.
I think this dress is just beautiful, Look at all the beautiful lace detail!
I love the dusty pink nude shade. I love dresses that are nipped in at the waist and have an A-line skirt. I think this style would be flattering to most shapes and the high neckline is very flattering too. I think I would wear this dress with navy shoes and a match clutch to make a bit of a statement.
These are all my outfit picks for the perfect wedding outfit. I hope you enjoyed reading it. What was your favourite? Let me know in the comments below.
Bye for now xx
