Well, what a March we have had, with all the cold weather and snow It felt like we were catapulted back to the depths of winter, not cool weather gods not cool! Hopefully, we will now see some better weather now the clocks have gone forward.
I always feel more pro-active when we have an extra hour of daylight. I can now take blog photos in natural light again. I want to do more things after work, instead of going straight home and putting on Netflix and snuggling under my duvet.
Now that I’ve finished my monthly roundup, I get on with my March Favourites.
Soap and Glory – The Righteous Butter Creamy Body Wash
My love affair with Soap and Glory is still going strong, I’ve bought two Christmas gift boxes worth of goodies and have been slowly working my way through them since.
This creamy body wash by far has to be my all-time favourite. It is so creamy and it reminds me of Marshmallow fluff! it smells amazing, it is a great 3 in 1 product, which is perfect for cleansing, shaving and moisturising.
Soap and Glory – Hand Food Hand Cream
With all this cold weather this hand cream has been well, very handy! It has worked wondered on my dry skin and leaves them feeling really soft. I find some hand creams can leave my hands quite greasy but this one doesn’t. I also love the citrus smell as it reminds me of summertime.
Leather Converse Trainers
I have had my eye on these trainers for a while, I have always loved converse trainers as they are so comfortable and great to throw on with a pair of jeans or a maxi skirt.
These ones are a new addition and I love the nude/pink shade and the rose gold eyelets. I have been wearing them at every opportunity since I bought them.
Maybelline Color Show 60 seconds Nail polish – 20 Blush Berry
Would it really be one of my monthly favourites without a nail polish colour? I’ve haven’t included one for a while because I have been wearing my favourite shades of red but this month I have a new one to rave about.
The colour I have been loving this month is Blush Berry from Maybelline Color Show. I love this range, all of the colours are so vibrant and they are very fast drying too, which is a massive plus for me.
Maybelline Dr.Rescue Gel Effect – Top Coat
It is always important to find a good top coat and I have found the one for me. Maybelline Dr.Rescue is such a good top coat. It dries so quickly and has a shiny gel-like finish to it.
Bed Head – Haze Glaze – Smoothing Hair Serum
I’ve had this serum for a while now, and I love it. I use it on my wet hair before I dry it, It makes my hair feel really smooth and it helps my hair dry a bit quicker.
For someone like me with really thick long hair, this is a great product to have, especially when you are in a rush, which 90% of the time I always am.
#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso
This book is by the founder of vintage fashion brand Nasty Gal, Sophia Amoruso. She tells her story of how she started Nasty Gal and shares the life lessons she learned along the way.
I loved reading it, as I found it so inspiring. I’m not what you would call a typical book reader, if I’m not engaged by the second chapter, I will not continue reading it. This book, however, kept me reading until the end. It is a very empowering book for young and ambitious females, if you haven’t read it already, I suggest you pick up a copy.
So these are the things I have been loving throughout March. What have been the things you have been loving lately?
Thanks for reading bye for now xx
