February Beauty Picks

Mish Mesh Blog - Valentines Beauty Picks

I’m sure I have mentioned this before, but Valentine’s day is a day I’m not really big on. Don’t get me wrong it is a nice opportunity to show your loved one you care. I think we should all try and do a small romantic gesture for one another each day. Like making your significant other a morning coffee or buying them a chocolate egg when you buy petrol, you know the little but very thoughtful gestures.

As February is seen as the month of looovvve! I have decided to put together a little post of Valentine beauty picks, those little gems that make you feel good.

All of these picks have one small thing in common, they are beauty products that are pink or red… (See a very loose Valentines theme here, so please stick with me).

Here are my February Beauty picks.

L’oreal Skin expert Paris Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash

I just love L’oreal products at the moment. This is the latest product that I have added to my L’oreal skincare collection. It smells lovely and it is so gentle to use every morning.
I have noticed that my skin is a lot softer and I have even got a few compliments on how nice my skin looks as well.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Fresh and Foamy Body Wash

Soap and Glory is another one of my go to products, to help make me feel good. I’m loving how soft my skin feels. I love the citrus scent of this body wash. I have loads of Soap and Glory products so I can’t wait to try even more from this range.

Revlon Nail Polish 680- Revlon Red

I always associate February with the colour red, probably because February is the month of looovvve! Red is one of my favourite colours and I’ll use any excuse to wear it. Revlon Red has been one of my favourite nail polish colours for ages. It is a lovely cherry red. Revlon colours dry quickly and have a lovely shine when they dry.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor  – 630 Seduction

Like my nail colours I love a pinky nude lip colour, especially if it is matt! I really like wearing this colour. It is a very natural shade and just adds a bit of subtle colour. This colour is great to wear everyday. The wand is quite thin so it is easy to apply. The only downside is that it wears off quite quickly.

Viktor and Rolf – Bonbon Perfume

I love this perfume, this is one of my favourite perfumes. It has a real fruity smell and reminds me of springtime. I wear this perfume quite a lot as it is really fresh and has a very light floral fragrance.

Rimmel London 60 seconds super shine 320 – Rapid Ruby

Ok, I have a little obsession with nail colours! I can’t help it, they are such a great way to update your beauty look and add a pop of colour to your outfit.

This shade is a lovely deep red, I think it is a great colour to wear especially this time of year. With all my Rimmel nail colours, they dry very quickly, which is perfect for when I am in a hurry!

Rimmel London Matte Lipstick 700 Trendsetter

I love Rimmel London’s Matte lipsticks, this one has been a firm favourite in my makeup bag since I started buying it. I have been wearing more pinky nudes over the last few months, but I have now gone back to using Trendsetter, it is a slightly darker shade of nude and I think it is the perfect shade for hot Valentines date.

So these are my Valentine Beauty picks to help make you feel good on February 14th. However you spend Valentine day I hope you all have a great day. What beauty products make you feel good this time of year? I would love to know, so leave me a comment below. Bye for now xx
