24 Days of GinMas!

Ah! It’s not long until the start of December and the countdown for the big day begins! In previous years a little £2.99 chocolate advent calendar would have done just fine to help us countdown the days, but not in 2017!

This year alcoholic advent calendars seem to be the ‘in’ thing, everytime I go on social media a new one pops up on my feed, the most popular ones being wine, prosecco and gin.

As you guys know I’m a big fan of gin and I’m all for having a cheeky G&T every evening in the run up to Christmas (tis the season to be merry and all that!) but, instead of just buying one I have decided to make my own.

One tiny little problem…. I don’t own 24 gins! But I have come up with a plan, In the spirit of Christmas, I have got together with some friends and we have shared our gin collections, I have given 50ml sized bottles of some of my favourites gins in return for some of theirs. I think it’s a great way to try a new gin and share some of your favourites with others. And all of us will get to have 24 different gins in the run up to Christmas, Perfect!

As I was collecting all of my gin I made little labels for all of them and stamped numbers from 1-24 and put them in a box, ready for me to start drinking on 1st December.
