Five spring nail polishes every girl should try

Mish Mesh Blog - Five spring nail polishes every girl should try

I just love spring, it has to be my favourite time of year. The sunny and crisp mornings, the blossom on the trees, it feels like a new beginning and a sign that we have made it through the cold dark winter.

I loving experimenting with new nail colours and think they are quick and easy way to update your look, especially around this time of year. So here are the shades I think every girl should try this spring.

Rimmel London 60 second super shine – 500 Caramel Cupcake

I have been obsessed with this for shade for a while now, I first picked it up in March, when I needed a natural and subtle shade to match my bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding.

It has to be my favourite nude shade at the moment. It is also a great nail polish to use if you are on the go or have limited time to get ready as it dries in 60 seconds.

Maybelline New York Super Stay – 615 Mint for life

This is the shade I have been wearing all week, I love it! It is a nice pop of colour without being too out there. I had a very similar colour to this last year but I think I prefer mint for life.

Maybelline have a great range of colours, and the polish has staying power when applied with a top coat, and it doesn’t take too long to dry either.

Rimmel London 60 second super shine – 203 Lose your Lingerie

Firstly I love the name of this one, I don’t know why, but it sounds a bit naughty! This shade is a lovely light pink. It’s a very girly colour and I love it.

I have had this shade for quite a while and I love wearing it as it is quite a subtle shade and it also matches my Pandora birthstone ring (I love a bit of colour coordination). Again this colour dries quickly, so perfect if you are in a hurry.

Maybelline New York Super Stay – 140 Rose Rapture

I have just bought this shade it is a lovely light coral. I love the bright oranges shades that are available in the Maybelline range as well but I feel they are more summer shades.

I just love the coral/salmon shade of this one, and will be wearing it a lot in the next few weeks.

Maybelline Color Show 60 Seconds – 21 Lilac Wine

I have wanted a light purple shade for a while now, and this one fits the bill. I love dark purples but wanted wanted something lighter and brighter.

I think this is a great colour for spring. I haven’t tried the color show polishes before so I’m sure how long this one will last – watch this space.

I hope you liked my shades for spring? What are your go to colours for spring? X

  1. I’m literally obsessed with nail polish lol the only problem is I hate when it chips after a day or 2. All of those colors look really pretty! Perfect for spring. I usually just wear a color that matches my mood lol or whatever I’m wearing.

    1. Yea me too, it has to be all perfect with no chips or its annoys me!. Do you use a top coat? I try and reapply a top coat every other day to try and make it last longer. BarryM topcoat works for me x

      1. I do apply a top coat but only the one time when I’m finished, I’ll try to reapply every other day and see if that helps, thanks!✨
