March Gin Picks

With the thought of summer just around the corner I thought I would choose some gins that remind me of the taste of summer. Take a look and as always Happy Drinking Gin Lovers.*

Hendrick’s Gin

This is one of my favourites gins to drink in the summer. Distilled in Scotland, Hendrick’s is distilled with Bulgarian rose and cucumber to add flavour. It’s so refreshing to have on a warm summer’s evening with Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic with cucumber as a garnish.

Rogue Society

This gin comes all the way from New Zealand I picked up a bottle when I was visiting last year. This gin has 12 different botanicals including cinnamon, orange peel, coriander seeds and nutmeg. This is a fresh, light tasting gin that goes well with Fever Tree Indian Tonic water garnished with lime.

Edinburgh Elderflower Liqueur

I discovered this gin when I was in a gin bar in London. For me it’s like summer in a glass. Its light, sweet and really refreshing. Its infused with elderflowers and apparently tastes nice with Cava or Prosecco, (which I will need to try). I usually have this gin with a Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water with lime as a garnish.

What drinks or gins do you like to drink in the summer months? X

* A little tiny confession, I’ve decided that it’s probably better to do my monthly Gin picks at the beginning of each month and not at the end! So soz about that! But you have more gins to try! You lucky things x
