I love writing about gin, So here are my gin picks for February… Happy Drinking Gin Lovers!
This gin has been a favourite for a while, it tastes a lot softer than other traditional gins. Whitley Neill is London distilled gin but uses African botanicals including extracts from the Baobab Tree. It is also distilled in a 100 year copper pot still. This gin tastes nice with Fever Tree Indian Tonic water with lime as a garnish.
Bluecoat American Dry Gin
I bought this gin when I was in New York, it is known as the Original American Dry Gin. its distilled in Philadelphia. It uses American citrus peel and organic juniper berries. This one tastes quite sweet with a hint of zest from the citrus peel. I have this gin with Fever Tree Indian Tonic water with lime as a garnish.
Black Shuck Sloe Gin
I got this gin as a Birthday gift from my friends who live in Norwich. This gin is made by the The Norfolk Sloe Company. They are a family business who produce gin, fruit liqueurs and chocolate truffles. Their Black Shuck Sloe Gin is made with traditional botanicals but are distilled with Lavender and Sea Buckthorn from Norfolk. This is currently my favourite Sloe Gin, I drink it with Fever Tree’s Sicilian Lemonade with lime as a garnish.
