We have made it through another month! Its that time again for another one of my monthly favourite’s posts.
Here are the things I have been loving during February.
Marc Jacobs Decadence
I have wanted this fragrance for a while now, one of my friends wears it and I love the smell. It’s a rich and luxurious scent, it is a stronger scent compared to the ones I usually use, but I find lasts for most of the day. I also really like the design of the bottle.
Revlon Colourstay Foundation – Buff
Until recently I didn’t wear foundation, I wore BB cream. I wanted a foundation that gave me more coverage but I didn’t want anything too heavy.
After spending a good amount of time in Boots, I choose Revlon Colourstay, for me it is the perfect foundation. It gives a light coverage which you can gradually build up.
It blends really easily and it matches my skin tone perfectly. It’s great for everyday use and It lasts all day. It also has SPF 20 – which is a big winner for me.
Rimmel Matte Lipstick – 700 Trendsetter
I have had this lipstick for a while now, but I have been wearing it almost everyday throughout February. I love it! It’s fast drying and long lasting.
Matte lipsticks are great compared to the other lipsticks I’ve tried, they don’t smudge, they give good coverage and they don’t stain your lips. 700 Trendsetter is a pinky nude colour which is great for everyday use. A real winner in my eyes.
Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo and conditioner
I got samples of these from SpaceNK when a bought a few things off their website. Because my hair is so long, I find that it can get greasy quite quickly, and I also have a balayage so the ends can get a little dry.
This shampoo left my hair feeling really soft and clean. The shampoo creates a shield that repels dirt, water and oil, which stopped my hair getting so greasy.
L’Oréal Pure Clay purity Mask
I have written about this mask in a previous post but I couldn’t leave it out of my favourites. I been using it a lot this month, and I have noticed a difference in my complexion. I use it about once a week and it leaves my skin feeling really soft.
I’m frankly obsessed with this series. I love a period drama especially one that is set in the 1940’s. It follows the goings on in a 5 star London hotel during the outbreak World War Two.
I love the mix of characters, the high society guests and the staff working in the hotel. I love the costumes, there is always something that is quite romantic and elegant about the 1940’s. Some of the episodes do pull on the heartstrings, ( I think it was at the end of episode 6 I cried).
